Mungojerrie and Rumpleteezer

These cosplays were created in collaboration with Skye Rivera (@toxyrin_arts on Instagram), a good friend of mine. Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer have been a dream pair cosplay of mine since I was a kid and together, Skye and I made my dream a reality.

We based our design on the filmed production of Cats!, specifically the costumes in their duet. 

In order to make the body suits we bought plain white leotards and then altered them and painted them with airbrush paint. To add the fur to the suits we deconstructed yarn and then sewed it onto the suit, we followed the same process to make the wigs. With tails, we tied yarn around a piece of rope, and for the shoes, we just got basic jazz shoes and drew on them with a paint marker.
